SIA "SLA PARIS LV" undertakes to ensure the protection and privacy of your personal data in accordance with:
Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation);
other laws and regulations in force in the Republic of Latvia in the field of personal data processing and privacy;
in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
With this Privacy Policy, limited liability company "SLA PARIS LV" provides you with information about the principles, types, purposes, scope, conditions and terms of its processing of personal data, as well as about your rights in relation to our processing of personal data.
1. Definitions
1.1. Personal data – any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
1.2. Data subject – an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter - the client).
1.3. Profiling – automated processing of personal data in the form of the use of personal data to evaluate certain personal aspects related to a natural person.
1.4. Controller – limited liability company "SLA PARIS LV" (hereinafter also – SLA PARIS LV).
1.5. Processor – a natural or legal person who processes personal data on behalf of the controller (SLA PARIS LV).
1.6. Third party – a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or body other than the data subject, controller, processor and persons who, under the direct authority of the controller or processor, are authorised to process personal data.
1.7. Consent of the Data Subject (Client) – a freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous indication of the Customer in the form of a statement or a clear affirmative action that the Customer agrees to the processing of his or her personal data.
1.8. Cookies – text files that are stored on the device used by the user in order to individualize the usability of the SLA PARIS LV website for each specific user of the website.
2. Personal data controller and processor
2.1. The controller of personal data is the limited liability company SIA "SLA PARIS LV", registration No. 40203069357, phone. +371 25 468 445, e-mail slaparis@slaparis.lv, jur. address: Mežaparka street 2 Berģi, Garkalne parish, Ropazu county, LV-1024, Latvia.
2.2. Personal data processors are legal entities that process personal data on behalf of SLA PARIS LV and in accordance with the instructions of SLA PARIS LV, and who have undertaken to comply with the requirements of the regulatory enactments in the field of data processing.
3. Customer personal data categories and types of data undergoing processing
3.1. The categories of customer personal data processed by SLA PARIS LV vary depending on which SLA PARIS LV services the customer wants to use.
3.2. The categories of personal data of customers processed by SLA PARIS LV shall be divided as follows:
3.2.1. processing of the customer's personal data for the issuance of SLA PARIS LV customer cards and other related activities;
3.2.2. processing of customer's personal data for registration in SLA PARIS LV e-shop and other related activities;
3.2.3. processing of customer's personal data for sending SLA PARIS LV newsletters by e-mail, SMS form or by post;
3.2.4. processing of customer's personal data for security purposes;
3.2.5. Processing of customer's personal data for other marketing purposes (publicity measures).
3.3. In order to ensure the issuance of customer cards and the provision of marketing offers related thereto, SLA PARIS LV may process the following customer's personal data in accordance with the amount of information provided by the customer at his choice: name, surname or username; sex; date of birth (date, month and year of birth optional); address; mobile phone number; email.
3.4. For the customer's registration in the SLA PARIS LV e-shop SLA PARIS LV, according to the amount of information provided by the customer, the following personal data of the customer may be processed: name, surname or username; sex; date of birth (date, month, year of birth); address; mobile phone number; e-mail, address.
3.5. For the execution of transactions carried out in the SLA PARIS LV e-store – delivery of goods – SLA PARIS LV may process the following personal data of the customer depending on the method of delivery of the goods chosen by the customer: e-mail, name, surname; address; mobile phone number.
3.5. For sending SLA PARIS LV newsletters by e-mail, SMS form or by post, SLA PARIS LV may process the following customer's personal data according to the amount and purpose of the information provided by the customer: e-mail, phone number, address.
3.6. For the purposes of property protection, SLA PARIS LV processes the following customer's personal data: a video image obtained from the video camera recordings in SLA PARIS LV stores.
3.7. SLA PARIS LV publicity promotion during publicity events organized by SLA PARIS LV (presentations, store opening events, etc.) SLA PARIS LV may process the following personal data of the customer: photo.
4. Purposes of personal data processing
4.1. SLA PARIS LV processes the personal data of customers only in accordance with the following purposes (purposes), in compliance with the requirements of the legislation governing the processing of personal data and depending on the amount of personal data provided by the customer and the provision of consent for the specific purposes of processing.
4.2. SLA PARIS LV processes the personal data of customers for the following specific purposes:
4.2.1. name, surname or username – for identifying the customer in SLA PARIS LV stores, providing the customer with the opportunity to use the customer's card without presenting it; as well as for customer registration in SLA PARIS LV e-shop and provision of access to SLA PARIS LV e-shop;
4.2.2. gender - when creating special offers of SLA PARIS LV that are most suitable for gender;
4.2.3. birth data (date, month, year of birth) - for granting discounts on the customer's birthday;
4.2.4. address – for sending seasonal catalogues, informative materials and invitations by mail to the customer, as well as for the delivery of goods ordered in the SLA PARIS LV e-store, if the type of delivery chosen by the customer requires the indication of the address in order to deliver the product to the customer;
4.2.5. mobile phone number - for SMS messages regarding current promotional offers and invitations to events; as well as if the customer has indicated the phone number at the time of placing the order in the SLA PARIS LV e-store - for communication regarding the delivery of goods ordered in the SLA PARIS LV e-store;
4.2.6. e-mail – for sending SLA PARIS LV news in electronic form; providing access to SLA PARIS LV e-shop to the customer; a statement necessary for the provision of order, payment and delivery information to the customer in the SLA PARIS LV e-store, if the customer will place an order for the product in the SLA PARIS LV e-store;
4.2.7. video image – video surveillance in the premises of SLA PARIS LV stores in order to protect the property of SLA PARIS LV, prevent theft in SLA PARIS LV stores, detect thefts committed in SLA PARIS LV stores, identify persons who commit theft, as well as ensure the protection of vital interests of persons, including life and health;

4.3. SLA PARIS LV informs that part of the data processing purposes specified in Clause 4.2 may be implemented in an automated way, including by performing customer profiling, with the aim of providing new, special, individual offers of SLA PARIS LV to a specific customer, taking into account the information obtained and automatically collected by SLA PARIS LV from the personal data provided by the customer and previous purchases in SLA PARIS LV stores, if the customer has agreed to it.
5. Basis and term of personal data processing
5.1. The processing of personal data by SLA PARIS LV may be carried out only on the basis of one of the following grounds:
5.1.1.Customer's consent – a personal, freely given specific and informed indication of the client that the client agrees to the processing of his or her personal data. For each type of personal data to be provided, SLA PARIS LV has indicated one of the purposes of Clause 4.2, for which the customer, at his choice, can give SLA PARIS LV consent to the processing of his or her personal data. The client, by personally providing his personal data, confirms his consent to the processing of his personal data.
When sending out invitations to publicity events organized by SLA PARIS LV, where it is planned to take photographs for the purpose of publicity promotion of SLA PARIS LV, SLA PARIS LV shall include in the invitation an indication of photography at the event. By arriving at the event, the client expresses active, informed consent to the fact that the processing of the client's personal data – a photo – may be carried out.
5.1.2. Fulfilment of a legal (legal) obligation – if it arises from legal acts or administrative acts issued by state institutions or lawful requests, SLA PARIS LV is entitled to process the data received from the customer to the extent necessary to comply with the relevant requirements of legal acts or administrative acts, or to respond to official legal requests of state institutions.
5.1.3. Compliance with legitimate interests – SLA PARIS LV is entitled to process customers' personal data in order to ensure compliance with their legitimate interests, in particular, but not limited to, for the protection and safety of property in SLA PARIS LV stores and to ensure the protection of vital interests of persons, including life and health (video surveillance), and for the purposes of investigation or legal proceedings (reporting criminal offences in SLA PARIS LV stores; raising claims, defending against claims in the courts, etc.).
In the case of video surveillance, SLA PARIS LV always unambiguously informs the customer about the video surveillance carried out in the store by placing a special sticker at the entrance to the stores. If the customer does not want to get to the video surveillance area, the customer can use the opportunity to shop in the e-shop of SIA "SLA PARIS LV" slaparis.lv.
5.2. SLA PARIS LV processes the personal data provided by customers as long as the consent given by the customer to data processing is valid, or as long as SLA PARIS LV needs to protect its legitimate interests or fulfill the legal obligations imposed on it, and until the purpose of personal data processing has been achieved. Video surveillance material is stored for no more than four weeks. If the particular video surveillance material is necessary for detection, investigation, punishment of the person who committed the theft or protection of the legitimate interests of SLA PARIS LV, it is stored until the achievement of these purposes.
6. Recipients of personal data
6.1. SLA PARIS LV, when processing customers' personal data, observes strict confidentiality and ensures protection against unauthorized access of third parties to personal data, inadvertent loss or destruction of personal data. As a legal basis, SLA PARIS LV may exceptionally transfer customers' personal data to the following persons:
6.1.1. Data processors who process personal data on behalf of SLA PARIS LV and in accordance with the instructions of SLA PARIS LV, for example, service providers who send SMS to customers on behalf of SLA PARIS LV about current special promotions offers;
6.1.2. State administration institutions, law enforcement institutions, upon lawful request of such institutions;
6.1.3. persons who provided SLA PARIS LV services, for example, lawyers, if there is a legal basis for the transfer of personal data to service providers.
7. SLA PARIS LV cookie policy
7.1. The SLA PARIS LV website uses cookies that store information about the activities performed by the website user on the website, such as the IP address used by the user, the domain name, the web browser used and the type of operating system used, the duration of the visit to the website and the information sought on the website.
7.2. SLA PARIS LV uses cookies only on the basis of the explicit consent given by the users of the website to their use. This condition does not apply to those cookies that are necessary for the smooth functioning of the SLA PARIS LV website, but which do not store information about the actions performed by the user on the SLA PARIS LV website for a long time.
8. Customer's rights in relation to the processing of personal data by SLA PARIS LV
8.1. The Customer has the right to choose to what extent and what data to provide to SLA PARIS LV, as well as to withdraw consent to the processing of his or her personal data in whole or in part, asking SLA PARIS LV to terminate the processing of all customer data or a certain part of the customer's data. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of the processing of customer's personal data carried out before the withdrawal.
8.2. By choosing not to provide personal data in any part or by withdrawing consent in whole or in any part thereof (in relation to specific, provided data), SLA PARIS LV will not be able to provide the customer with those services for the provision of which the relevant personal data is required.
8.3. Taking into account the fact that SLA PARIS LV needs to unambiguously identify the customer who fully or partially withdraws the consent to the processing of personal data, the customer may send the refusal to SLA PARIS LV in the following ways:
8.3.1. If the customer has been granted a customer discount – by sending a withdrawal to SLA PARIS LV e-mail slaparis@slaparis.lv from the e-mail, which the customer indicated in the customer questionnaire issued at the SLA PARIS LV point of sale for receiving the customer card or which was indicated when registering in the SLA PARIS LV e-shop. In this case, in the withdrawal e-mail, the customer must indicate the name, surname or username (if the customer has chosen one) and the customer's card number (if the customer has been granted such a card), as well as the extent to which the consent is withdrawn.
8.3.2. By sending a withdrawal to SLA PARIS LV e-mail slaparis@slaparis.lv, signed with a secure electronic signature, indicating the customer's name, surname or username (if the customer has chosen one) and the customer's card number (if the customer has been granted a customer card), as well as the extent to which the consent is withdrawn.
8.3.3. By sending a withdrawal by post to the legal address of SLA PARIS LV: Mežaparka street 2 Berģi, Garkalne parish, Ropažu county, LV-1024, Latvia, indicating the customer's name, surname or username (if the customer has chosen one) and the customer's card number (if the customer has been granted a customer card), as well as the extent to which the consent is withdrawn. The customer can also submit a handwritten withdrawal of consent in one of the SLA PARIS LV stores.
8.4. The Customer has the right at any time to object to the processing of personal data by SLA PARIS LV, as well as to request SLA PARIS LV to perform certain actions in relation to the customer's personal data by sending a request to SLA PARIS LV in one of the ways specified in paragraphs 8.3.1-8.3.3. The Customer is entitled to request SLA PARIS LV:
8.4.1. to issue personal data about the customer at the disposal of SLA PARIS LV;
8.4.2. to correct, delete or supplement personal data in accordance with the customer's instructions, justifying his or her request;
8.4.3. restrict (suspend for a certain period of time) the processing of certain type or all of the customer's data;
8.4.4. to stop automated processing of customer data (automated individual decision-making regarding the customer), including profiling;
8.4.5. to transfer personal data to another controller – to the extent and in the form in which the data are at the disposal of SLA PARIS LV.
8.5 The Customer has the right to obtain from SLA PARIS LV information on the fact of transfer of personal data to third parties and on persons (natural or legal) and/or state institutions to whom SLA PARIS LV has provided any information related to the personal data of the particular customer, except in cases where such information has been provided on the basis of a request from the subject of operational activity or another competent authority within the framework of criminal proceedings or in other cases, when the law expressly prohibits the disclosure of the information in question.
8.6. In case of disagreement regarding the processing of personal data by SLA PARIS LV, the customer has the right to submit a complaint to the supervisory authority – the Data State Inspectorate.
9. Changes to the Privacy Policy
9.1. SLA PARIS LV may make changes to the privacy policy at any time and at its own discretion, if such changes comply with the requirements of the laws and regulations in the field of personal data protection. The amendments come into force after they are published on the SLA PARIS LV website. It is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically to make sure that you are familiar with the changes.
